The Peter James Emergence R52 is the inaugural cigar from Peter James Cigar Co., created in collaboration with Luciano Meirelles and Luciano Cigars and handcrafted at the Luciano factory in Estelí, Nicaragua.
Emergence is built around an Ecuadorian Corojo-hybrid wrapper from the Loja region, a Brazilian Mata Fina binder, and a filler blend of Nicaraguan, Dominican Republic, and U.S. tobaccos. The wrapper is aged for more than five years, while the blend incorporates tobaccos aged between three and ten years.
Production is intentionally limited, with reports of just 100 cigars produced per day by a single roller and buncher. The result is a medium-bodied cigar designed around patience, precision, and craftsmanship rather than mass production.
Flavor profile: Expect an evolving combination of earth, cedar, roasted coffee, cream, bread, baking spice and subtle sweetness, with a refined finish that rewards a slower pace.
